Land Surveying to Support Engineering

Our field crew and office staff specialize in using modern survey technologies, matched with extensive property research, to map properties throughout Massachusetts and New York. We prioritize thorough existing conditions mapping on projects that move into subsequent engineering phases in an effort to minimize the amount of unknowns that can be associated with site development.

Stormwater Management Design

Whether you are a homeowner or a developer, stormwater management is often an integral part of any new site development. From permitting new designs with local municipalities to solving complex drainage issues, we are here to help. With many solutions that can be incorporated underground or into landscape features we often encourage clients to embrace stormwater on their site and encourage alternatives to outdated “detention pond” or “collect and send downstream” mentalities.

Fiber Optic Mapping and Planning

New underground and aerial fiber optic installations often require a series of permitting hurdles to overcome. We have helped our Fiber Optic clients throughout the Northeast to tackle these hurdles and create mapping to document their assets, which oftentimes end up buried. In a fast-moving industry we work to meet the ever-changing mapping needs of our clients.

GIS Data Collection and Mapping

We have had unique opportunities to work in the aerial mapping industry by providing precisely located ground control to support aerial imagery and aerial topographic mapping (LiDAR) efforts. We would love to discuss your data collection process in more detail!

Commercial Site Design

Multi-Family Residential, Mixed-Use, Commercial, Industrial - new development or redevelopment. We have worked extensively in the Metro Boston and South Shore Boston area on many Commercial Site Design projects. Our repeat clients range from small developers to corporate developers, architects and owners.

Boston Water and Sewer Commission Permitting

Many of our clients reach out to us solely for our expertise with the Commission and other Boston agencies. We have been working in Boston for almost 20 years and have the relationships that time, hard work and respect can build!

Wetlands Permitting

There may be more to that “wet area” on your site than you think! If you are planning development near a lake, stream, river, wetland or “wet area,” you might want to give us a call. We have been assisting our clients with City/Town Conservation Commission Permitting in Massachusetts and New York State DEC Permitting since our incorporation.

Technical Design Review

We have worked extensively in all aspects of Site Permitting for new development and redevelopment - from the developer side to the approving authority side. Our founder, Erin Joyce, is a member of her local Planning Board and has spent a significant portion of her career offering technical design review support to municipalities and clients seeking Peer Review Services.
