Joyce Consulting Group’s pragmatic approach and straightforward communication makes them a pleasure to work with. Erin Joyce makes it easy to understand the civil design concepts not just for the design team, but also for the public. Stormwater and site drainage were key focuses for a significant residential project on which we collaborated. The project had to undergo many agency reviews for approval and JCG’s design was a critical piece in the approval process. Joyce Consulting Group’s presentations were practical and easy to follow, swaying both the general public as well as the planning board that the Civil design was sound.  Erin addressed each of the town’s concerns flawlessly and thoroughly and we made it through the review process easily. I was particularly impressed with JCG’s knowledge and attention to detail on the new accessible parking and walkway in front of Saint Francis Xavier in Weymouth. In order to provide parking for the disabled and a low slope gentle walkway from the vehicle to the front entry without a costly ramp, the Joyce firm worked intently with our firm to achieve this goal on their drawings. The special services they provided during the construction phase were exceptional. Erin was especially understanding and temperate when the contractor had difficulty comprehending [the project].
